Here is the most complete one-volume collection of Oscar Wilde’s work in print today. It includes The Importance of Being Earnest, based on the original four-act play but with readings from the revised version where these are considered to be more ‘polished’ than the original. De Profundis is taken from the only complete and accurate source, the original British Museum manuscript which was until recently suppressed. The introduction to this volume has been specially written by Vyvyan Holland, Oscar Wilde’s son.
