Short stories about love

<strong>In five words:</strong> Paris - love - humor - feelgood - variety <strong>Positive points:</strong> This collection contains 2 novellas and 9 short stories which each depict another facet of love. What makes this bundle really interesting is the variation: more serious stories alternate with (even absurd) humorous ones, some stories have a historical feel and then you also have some darker ones. Nice to see that this author masters different styles. Although this is only the second book I read from this author, it must be said that she writes really smoothly. Reading her writings feels a bit like coming home. Will definitely pick up some of her other books. <strong>Negative points:</strong> Some endings are quite predictable. Not all the stories are very memorable. But all these things didn't prevent me from enjoying this book. Because sometimes you just want a comfort read which offers just enough surprises to keep you hooked, and at the same time also enough positive vibes to cheer you up. <strong>Rating:</strong> Some stories get 3*, but the overall feeling after reading this book leads me to give 4* for the whole.
