Nice story from World Book Day 2022

On the 3rd of match 2022 (World Book day) and its 25th anniversary, Sophie McKenzie gave away 'Boy, Missing', a short story in her 'Missing'-series. Harlan and Ellen are on holiday on a camping, but they're having a fight. At some point Harlan storms into the woods. They were warned not to go there, because of the danger. An abandoned quarry with steep falls is also in the woods. After Ellen cleared the site, as her father asked her to, she does become worried about Harlan and searches for him. She finds him in said quarry, where his dog - Boomer - is stuck between two rocks. Together they free the dog. But now they still need to get out of the quarry and that is not going to be easy, when a storm comes up and causes a land slide just at their exit. Now what? A quality short story by Sophie McKenzie about friendship and trust.
