A Crown Imperilled

This is the second book of the Riftwar Cycle, the last trilogy of the life of Pug, a thirty book saga. Jim Daher is at a loss at what is going on in Midkemia. His spy network - spanning the three kingdoms: Roldem, the Isles and Empire of Kesh - gives no sign of life. Kesh has conquered big part of the west of the Kingdom of the Isles, but something is brewing in all of the kingdoms. Pug, Amirantha and Sandreena have arrived at the island of the Snake Men. They found this island on one of the maps Marcos left Pug. This appears to be the homeland of the Panthatians. And the Panthatian Priests have been running amok for more than a hundred years. But the island is not what it appears to be. A surprise and a new secret is to be revealed. Martin has been driven back by the Keshians from Crydee to Ylith and is desperately trying to hold on to that. Ty Hawkins and Hal need to find a way to smuggle princes Stephané and her handmaiden out of Roldem, this island state isn't save for her anymore. Although this is another good story by Raymond E. Feist. I have some issues with the printing that makes it hard(er) too read than his other stories. Sentences don't run smoothly or miss words altogether. That is throughout the entire book. Sometimes persons are switched from one place to another. Therefore the editing of this story could be better and I hope in future prints (I have a first print) this has been resolved. If you can get past this (and I can), the story is stil a good story to read.
